| This site will describe my 1951 Model A John Deere tractor, updates to the tractor, results of antique tractor pulls, and links to informative John Deere websites. I hope you will find the information helpful and/or enjoyable. My grandfather had an old Model A and a Model H. My brother and I raked alot of hay with that A, and sat behind the H on a one-row tobacco setter. I always tell people that my blood turned John Deere green when I was 6 or 7 years old. |

| Here she is the day I picked her up in Rockville, IN. I found her in the photo ads on www.yesterdaystractor.com . My dad went with me to pick her up. It took us about 3 hours to get there, and an hour later (plus a chunk of change), she was loaded and ready to go to her new home. It was nice having a co-pilot since I had never towed anything of this magnitude before. Plus, having dad with me took the whole experience over the top. Thanks dad! |
