| A good friend of mine at work, Ken, was diagnosed with CLL (Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia) in 1995. This is a type of cancer that starts in the white blood cells in the bone marrow and then invades the blood. He has started a blog on geocities to chronicle his experience and his upcoming stem cell transplant. He's been in the medical field for a long time; as have I, though not as long as he has, so it's a bit technical. But it's an outlet for him as he will be in a transplant unit for 21-28 days and have lots of lab work afterwards. If you wish, you can go to his blog by clicking here.
